Debbi Wilkins has lived in Plainview, Texas all of her life, listing and selling real estate in the area for 33 years. She genuinely cares about the people in Plainview and the surrounding communities.
Her father was a building contractor and home builder when Wilkins was growing up. "I used to tag along with him to jobs whenever he would let me," she recalls. "The smell of sawdust still brings back wonderful memories of the smell of a new house going up, and the way Dad smelled when he came home every night."
Known for her deep understanding of the area, Debbi knows first hand that real estate is more than just buildings and paperwork. "Watching Dad put his heart and soul into building homes for people. I realized that a home is where the heart is because it's where loved ones gather," she explains. "People were always so happy to move their families into the new homes that my father and his construction crew spent months building for them, and I could see that even as a child and appreciate the important job my dad had."
